Shruti Benjamin, MD

Dr. Shruti Benjamin was born and raised in Lubbock, Texas. She attended Texas Tech University and graduated Magna Cum Lade with a degree in biology. Dr. Benjamin obtained her medical degree at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Medicine. After deciding to dedicate her career to OB/Gyn, she completed residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

She was elected to the position of Administrative Chief Resident. During her time as a resident, she was awarded the Outstanding Resident in Obstetrics & Gynecology award by her peers at the Southwestern Gynecologic Assembly and also the distinguished Joseph Warren award.

Dr. Benjamin met her husband, an internal medicine physician in Frisco, during high school. They enjoy spending time with their family, friends, and traveling the world together.

Kayla Mapps, MD

Dr. Kayla Mapps was born and raised in the Dallas metroplex, graduating from Irving High School in Irving, Texas. She attended Prairie View A&M where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in biology. Dr. Mapps received her medical degree from UT Health Science Center Medical School in Houston, Texas. During this time, Dr. Mapps felt most drawn to women’s health which sparked her pursuit in OB/GYN.

She was accepted into the LSU school of medicine OB/GYN residency program in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she trained for 4 years. During this time, Dr. Mapps trained in robotics, high risk pregnancies, infertility, and full scope prenatal and gynecological services. Dr. Mapps practiced with a private group in Stockton, California upon leaving residency for about 5 1/2 years until she relocated back to Texas in December 2020.

Dr. Mapps’ free time mainly consists of taking care of her 3 kids and her 2 dogs. She loves spending time with her family, cooking/baking, reading, and traveling when she can.

Kaitlyn Edmondson, PA-C

Kaitlyn Edmondson, PA-C was born in Monroe, LA and primarily raised in Tulsa, OK. She attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, OK, graduating with a degree in psychology. Kaitlyn then went to OU-TU School of Community Medicine for PA school and found her passion for women’s health during this time. Shortly after PA school, she relocated to the DFW area.

Kaitlyn enjoys spending her free time with her family and loved ones. She especially enjoys hiking, traveling, exercising, and caring for her abundant plant collection.

Erin Creps, PA-C

Erin Creps, PA-C grew up in Wichita, KS. She attended Friends University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology. She received her Master of Physician Assistant from the University of Findlay and moved to DFW upon graduation. 

Erin’s passion for women’s health sparked from her own struggles with endometriosis. Her goal is to advocate for the well-being and comfort of her patients and to provide compassionate care.  

In her free time, Erin can be found exercising, playing video games, and spending time with her husband, cat, and French bulldog.

Jenna Clayton, RDMS

Sonographer

Jenna grew up in the DFW metroplex, where she met and married her high school sweetheart. She earned her degree in Ultrasound at Midland College, where she graduated with honors. In addition to her academic pursuits, Jenna was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa society as well as the International Scholar Laureate Program. She is board certified in Ultrasound Physics, OB/Gyn Ultrasound, as well as Breast Ultrasound. 

Her career as a registered diagnostic medical sonographer was inspired by her own personal fertility struggles and pregnancy losses. Her passion for healthcare is driven by making every patient feel understood and validated.

During Jenna’s free time, she loves reading a good book or taking an indoor cycling class. Her favorite pastime, however, is just being with her loving husband, incredible daughter, and bubbly new son.
